Courses Teaching Widget

The courses teaching widget will list all courses that you are enrolled in as a Teacher in Canvas. Clicking on any course title will take you to the course details page. The widget will only list courses in the active term. If you need to see courses in past or future terms click the My Courses link in the widget or the main navigation.

Any teaching assistants (TA) you add to your course will also see this widget when they log into MATS.

My Proctors Widget

The my proctors widget will list all of the currently certified proctors that you as a student have selected to proctor your tests. Other than USU Testing Centers, these are the only people who will be able to proctor your USU exams. After you find and select a proctor, they will show up in this list. If the proctor does not maintain certification they will drop off of this list.

It is not necessary to select USU locations and add them to your proctor list. USU staff will have access to your testing materials regardless. We keep these proctors on the list so students can easily see where the locations are in relation to other proctors.

My Courses Widget

The my courses widget will list all courses that you are enrolled in as a Student in Canvas. Clicking on the course title will take you to that course in Canvas. The widget will only list courses in the active term.

My Active Students Widget

The active student widget will show you all of the students who have selected you as their proctor and are enrolled in courses in the active term. If students are not enrolled in courses, they will not appear in this list. You can always view those students if you need to by clicking the All Students in the main navigation, however, since you will only have access to active course exams, you won't be able to view any data about those students, but you can see that they exist and are associated with your account.

In order to look-up an exam for a student, you must click their name in your active student list. Once you click their name the course list widget will appear. The course list widget (see below) will be titled with the student name and show a list of their currently enrolled courses. To view the exams within a course, click on one of the courses.

Once you click a course name the exam list widget will appear. The exam list widget (see below) will be titled with the course you clicked on and show a list of all exams in that course. You will only be able to view exam information within the date rage listed on the exam.
