Getting Started

Before you signup, please review our terms and information on who can be a proctor

How do I sign up to be a proctor

Fill out the registration form to start the registration process. After you fill out the form, you will be sent an email to verify that you have access to that email address. Once verified, you must then login and complete the certification form. The certification form requires that you agree to our proctoring terms and that you affirm that your contact information is accurate. Click the My Account link in the main navigation to review and fix your account information.

After you submit the certification form we will notify you via email when your certification is either approved or rejected. After your certification is approved you will be able to proctor tests for USU students.

I didn't receive an email from your system

If you didn't receive an email when signing up, you may want to contact your IT department. The registration emails are sent immediately from our system unless there is an error. Some proctors work at locations with strict email filters and it may be blocked. All emails sent come from distance.testing@usu.edu. Verify that email address is allowed in your system.

I can't login

If you cannot login, try first resetting your password. If you have tried to reset your password and still can't login, please contact us. The main reason proctors fail to login is when they use an incorrect email address and/or password when attempting to login.

I can't remember my password

If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password page in order to reset it. Simply enter your email and click the check box to send a password reset email. The system will not inform you if you enter an incorrect email address. So if you fill out the form and don't receive an email from us, please make sure you are entering the email address tied to your account. If you continue to have issues, please contact us. Please only do this once. Each time you submit the form, the previous email and corresponding link becomes invalid.

I'm having trouble resetting my password

If you are having problems resetting your password, please contact us.
