USU students can schedule their tests online at rcde.usu.edu/mats or by calling (435) 259-7432. It is your responsibility to schedule enough time to complete your test. The testing center will close at the time posted. Tester will be required to provide a valid photo ID to test. You will be given a receipt at the time of the exam.

Non-USU Exams
Millers Analogy Test (MAT)
Students wishing to take the MAT should contact Samantha Campbell at (435) 259-7432 or e-mail samantha.campbell@usu.edu. The cost for the MAT is $80.00.
Residual ACT
The Residual ACT is exactly like the National ACT except that scores are valid only at the college or university where the test is actually taken. Residual ACTs taken at USU provide scores valid for USU purposes only. A student cannot take the ACT Residual at USU and use scores for other schools with one partial exception: USU's ACT Residual may be used for the USU/Weber State University Cooperative Nursing Program, though they will not be valid for admission to other programs at Weber State University. Residual ACT scores are not valid for NCAA Clearinghouse purposes. Contact Samantha Campbell at samantha.campbell@usu.edu or call 435-259-7432 to schedule an appointment. The Residual ACT can only be taken every two months. Please note:
- Pay the $60 testing fee* to USU Moab prior to your test.
- ACT Residual may not be repeated (at USU or any other school) within 60 days.
- Bring your receipt to your mutually agreed testing time.
- Bring #2 lead pencil(s), pre-approved calculator, and photo ID.
- Testing instructions will be given to you at the time of your test.
- Test takes approximately three hours to complete.
- Tests will be graded and scores sent to ACT and USU for official scoring.
Pearson Vue Tests
All Pearson Vue tests should be scheduled and paid for via the Pearson Vue website.
ID requirements can be found on the Pearson Vue website. ID requirements may vary by exam.
NPOST Testing
Testing is by appointment only. Please bring the following to the testing center on the date of your test:
- Pay the $45 testing fee* to USU Moab prior to you test.
- 2 valid forms of ID
Accuplacer and other Non-USU Tests
Testing is by appointment only. Please bring the following to the testing center on the date of your test:
- Pay the $10 testing fee* to USU Moab prior to you test.
- Your valid photo ID
Nursing Tests
Testing is by appointment only. Please bring the following to the testing center on the date of your test:
TEAS - The cost for the TEAS test is $70*. The test is 219 minutes total time. Plan on up to 4 hours total time with demographics.
*Payment for proctored tests must be made by exact change cash or by check or money order payable to USU Moab
